After appropriate testing and defining what the issues are, we would outline a program specific to your needs.
With appropriate diet, exercise, hormone balancing and supplements used in concentrated amounts, we are able to produce the results we need in healthy aging.
To age healthily, there is no way to get beyond a good diet. The Mediterranean diet has proven to be one of the healthiest, anti-inflammation and glucose-lowering diets to consume. It includes healthy omega 3 oils, moderate wine consumption, lean protein and a low-sugar diet.
Exercise should include both aerobic, fast walking or running to increase heart rate, and weight training to preserve muscle mass. This should be done for about 30 minutes, 4-5 days per week.
Bio-identical Hormone Therapy
Hormones rejuvenate, regenerate and restore. Pellet Therapy uses hormones derived from natural plant sources to replicate the body’s normal hormonal levels. Patients have found that bio-identical hormone replacement therapy with pellet implants is extremely effective. Implants, placed under the skin, consistently release small, physiologic doses of hormones providing optimal therapy.
Pellets contain a natural plant source of estrogen and testosterone. A compounding pharmacist, using strict federal guidelines, compounds the estrogen and testosterone utilized in the pellets. These pellets, which are smaller than a grain of rice, are placed in the fatty tissue underneath the skin and most closely mimic the actions of healthy ovaries and testicles with regards to hormone release into the bloodstream. The hormone pellet implantation procedure is easily performed in our office.

We use pharmaceutical grade companies that only sell to physicians to ensure that what we purchase is of the highest quality.
A life scientist, Dr. C. David Rollo, of McMaster University in Canada, has identified a “30 nutrient cocktail” that will attack the five mechanisms of aging (listed on Stay Younger, Longer). This is a base formula that we all need, but additional ones may be recommended as related to specific diseases. All of these nutrients are important and can help delay or prevent:
- cardiovascular diseases
- cholesterol or lipid problems
- diabetes mellitus
- neurodegenerative disorders
- skin aging
- GI problems
- libido disorders
- sleep issues
If healthy aging is important to you, call our office for an evaluation. We can help get you back to that youthful state of feeling good, looking good and sleeping soundly.
